OUT WITH THE OLD IN WITH THE NEW!

We did a little "spring cleaning" in our garage and decided it was high time Mik got a new car. His subarus plates were expiring and it was going to cost an arm and a leg (again) to fix (again) and we figured we might as well be making car payments on a new car instead of dumping a ton of money into a junker.

Goodbye white Soobee. Thanks for being so good to us. Thanks for all the good times and adventures. You were definitely worth all $500.

He traded old soobee in and got a black Kia. It's the love of his life. If you ever can't fine Mik these days you will most likely find him in the garage cleaning his new love.

MIKS NEW JOB

Mik got a new job as a busser at Sundance. So if you go up there make sure you say HI! He has been LOVING it! They get tipped extremely well up there because people drink and then get very generous with their tipping (the ONE plus side to drinking i guess!). We are so grateful Mik was able to find a second job to help support us!

OUT WITH THE OLD IN WITH THE NEW!

i got a sewing machine for christmas and ever since i've been wanting to sew sew sew but couldnt decide what to start with! well with all the sick smoggy weather outside ive finally finished a few projects! mik and i went to target a couple months ago to buy an ironing board and my oh my what ugly covers they had! it was so depressing that i finally told mik to just pick which one he liked the best, well i've been staring at that ugly hospital blue cover ever since and finally decided to do something about it!

oh sandi henderson how i love your fabric! now maybe ill actually iron every once in awhile! we have slowly been putting our office/sewing room together and i was tired of looking at this temporary solution as well (its a bed for apple, so she can hang out with us in there)
