Grateful

The last few months have been stressful ones at the Severe's. Miks started school again which is exciting but the unknown is scary, we have been remodeling the salon, my health and hormones have a mind of their own, I guess you can say I've been in a funk. Today I got some devastating news from one of my dear salon clients and it's completely made me do a 180. I've realized what I'm going through now seems trivial and has made me count my blessings and SO grateful for this guy:

Marching

March was a productive and fun month for us! We redid the back room at the salon making it lighter and more organized.



Hunger Games premiere



We went and saw my friend Kelsey in the Vagina Monologues. So funny! Keely was dying!



My grandpa Arden passed away and we attended his funeral in Heber. He was an amazing man and left behind an amazing legacy!



And lots of yummy food happened as always.

Our Happy Place

Everyone always makes fun of us but Mik and I can't get enough of Disneyland. It's our happy place. I think it takes us back to being little kids and reliving a little magic.

Provo happenings

Oh Provo such a sad day when We lost Nordstrom! The only good thing to come from it was the liquidation sale after on all their fixtures. Karson tried the legs on...

14 Days of Valentines

To help February go by quicker I got the idea to do the 14 days of Valentines from Pinterest (what would we do without pinterest?!) Beware it's all very cheesy!

We thought life would slow down after the holidays but the funny thing about life is it just keeps going! January brought the NBA back into our life after the lockout. Go jazz!








This amazing kid turned 5! He's growing up way too fast!





A resolution with the mr. to cook more meals together. And the littles and Mik's first experience of putting maple syrup on snow (a childhood favorite, they were all pleasantly surprised!)

Happy New Year!

Where has the last 4 months gone?! It's been crazy busy at the Severe house and now it's time to catch up! We spent New Years Eve with my family. We have a traditional fondue/snack/delicious food spread that we munch on all night. Mik and I's tradition is to see a movie to pass the time. It was a nice night an it's always nice to spend the holidays with family and loved ones!
