CONFERENCE WEEKEND

We had a great conference weekend! It was nice to be able to hear from President Monson and all the other amazing messages! We spent the weekend with my family up the canyon, it was so beautiful! I LOVE fall and this time of year, the changing leaves were beautiful! Mik went on his very first "real" horse ride with Kody. He loved it!

Karson couldn't get enough of the four wheelers! He made everyone take him millions of times, he never got bored!

CAN YOU FEEL THE LOVE TONIGHT?

Last week we got to go with my family to see The Lion King in Salt Lake. It was SO GOOD! The music was great and the costumes were AMAZING! One day I hope to play the giraffe, stilts and all. We got some pretty quality pictures.

CONNECTION NIGHT

Mik came up with the grand idea of having a "connection night" once a week (aka date night with a fancy name). We look for things that are cheap or free and the goal is to do something different then the same old shmame old dinner and a movie. A couple weeks ago we went to the BYU Art Museum and LOVED it! They have 3 different exhibits going on right now; Suburbia, Life of Christ (very cool) and the museums personal collection (our favorite).

Can you tell which ones were our favorite? We wanted to take more but little did we know it's against the rules to take pictures....Last week we went to Amano Chocolate. Run don't walk! Who knew there was a world renowned chocolate place in Provo?! You get free samples of all the different chocolates they make, brownies and peanut brittle. Delish!

After the taste testing we each took home a bar of our favorite and some yummy truffles.

Anniversary

For our 2 year anniversary we spent the weekend in Salt Lake. We heard good things about Hotel Monaco so we decided to give it a try! It's a cute, funky, boutique hotel.

We spent the day shopping and walking around the gateway. We were so pumped because we got this rare parking spot in front of Anthropologie. So of course we had to document it!

We ate a yummy dinner at Happy Sumo.

Then it was back to the hotel. Naturally we had to put on the complimentary leopard robes.

Mik had a little too much fun.

It was a lovely little weekend!

2 YEARS

Can you believe we have been married for two years?! It has gone by in the blink of an eye! I am so grateful for my husby, our marriage and for all the fun we have had!

This is one of my favorite wedding photos, it pretty much sums up my wedding day. Notice the background; My crazy sisters having the time of their lives, dancing the night away. My good friend Kellie on the other side getting hit on by some creep. Oh and me and Mik completely oblivious to it all, totally in love!

Thursday, July 29 was Mik's 23rd Bday. I'm such a lucky lady to have this guy as my husby!

The night before I took the kids to get balloons, this humongous one wouldn't even fit in the mini van door! Karly offered to hold onto it while it hung out the window but luckily after putting the backseat down it fit in the back....barely!
