WISHING...

Over the last several months Mik and i have racked up the sky miles (thanks american express!), so for our big one year anniversary ive convinced mik to visit to the City of Love with me! We want to go before we start having kids and have to grow up and all that fun stuff! I'm still in the planning stage so nothings for sure yet but if you have any tips , advice, know any good hotels, restaraunts etc etc i can take all the help i can get trying to plan this adventure!

BOWLING

we went bowling this morning and ended up having a blast! ill admit im always iffy about putting those lovely shoes on, but once you get into the game you always seem to mostly forget...sorry the pictures arent that great theyre taken with my iphone camera, i always forget our regular camera so it often comes in handy!

I LOVE HIM!

we took this picture a couple weeks ago, during those couple of days when it just kept snowing and snowing, it's a fun memory and i just came across it so i had to post it. we've been married a little over 5 months now and it's gone by so quick! i cant believe how lucky and blessed we've been in the short time that we have been married. i'm so grateful for mik and what a great husband he is! i love you mik!

We took the boys to the bean museum and i took a couple pictures. i love how absolutely nothings changed since back in the day when i used to go, pretty sure its even the same forest green carpet!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KARSON!

Its this cute boys 2nd birthday today! we actually already celebrated it before my parents went out of town but dont think we arent going to celebrate again! i guess since he's 2 its ok to have 2 birthdays...we spent all morning playing on the tree at the mall (see post below), then we went to the store and he picked out a shirt and now he's taking a nice little nap to refresh himself for pizza and cupcakes. Karson is the funniest kid i know he never fails to make me laugh, and i think he's the only 2 year old in the world Mik actually likes! Happy birthday Karson we love you!

PLAYING AT UNIVERSITY MALL!

My lucky parents are in lovely Mexico so Mik and i are in charge this week. Karter and Karson were getting a little stir crazy so Mik and I took them to the university mall this morning to check out the new play area. have you seen it yet? They have the tree back but they also have dinosaur bones you can play on. They LOVED it! Its a good place to go get some energy out while its cold outside!

HAPPY NEW YEARS!

Goodbye 2008 welcome 2009! We started our evening off by going to my parents and stuffing our faces with delicious food; cheese and crackers, chips and salsa, pineapple wrapped bacon, mozzerella sticks, jalapeno poppers, sandwiches, cheese fondue, chocolate fondue, i could go on and on! Needless to say we rang in the new year 10 pounds heavier because of it! I didn't take a lot of pictures the night but you'll have to check out my moms blog to see pictures of our delicious feast! Then Mik and I went to the movies and saw Bedtime Stories, i couldn't stop laughing! We highly recommend it! After it was back to my parents to eat more food, play games and watch the ball drop. We are so grateful for our families, friends, our health and the gospel. Happy New Year!
