THAT'S AMORE!

Sunday night we went to the Heber Roneys house to enjoy their new authentic wood burning pizza oven. Only one word will describe our experience, YUM!!! I'll definitely be putting a pizza oven in if we ever build a house! Thanks for the delicious food Heber Roneys!

p.s. yes you are seeing correctly, my hair is a bit strawberry blonde at the moment!

MIKS BIRTHDAY!

Miks birthday was July 29th...I can't believe im posting this over a month later! Time definitely flies! For Miks bday we headed to Jdogs for delicious hot dogs (make sure you get the special sauce) and stopped for Surf n Slurps aka glorified snowies. Surf and Slurp is definitely better, you can get ice cream on the bottom, it's surprisingly delicious!

Mik spent the rest of the day swimming and relaxing. Later that night both our families went to Sundance to have dinner in the Grill Room. So delicious!

Everyone enjoying their deliciouso dinners

Then we went home to open presents of course. This is our family tradition classic picture that we always take.

He requested cheesecake for his birthday cake

and what's a Roney birthday without the spanking machine. Unfortunately this is something you can't grow out of.

ANNIVERSARY TRIP!

For our anniversary we decided to go to Park City. Far enough away that it felt like it was truly a vacation and close enough that we could cruise to the salon if there was any sort of emergency (there wasn't). It was so nice to get away and relax and enjoy delicious food! Friday we went to the Farmers Market which was a total let down so we headed to the outlet stores (LOVED it!) and then Main Street.

We were sad to find out that Chloe Lane went out of business!!!

Our favorite cheap restaurant is Davanzas they have the most delicious Philly cheesesteak!

Across the street was a new cute candy store. Yum!

For our anniversary dinner we ate at Chimayos. It was SO good! We finished our meal off with mexican fondue. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! (Churros dipped in chocolate? you bet!)

Saturday we went to Olympic Park to watch the ski freestyle aerial show. It was amazing! Definitely recommend it!

It's a bunch of trained athletes that go off huge jumps into a swimming pool. A bunch of them are going to be trying out for the next winter olympics. It really was so awesome!

Mik caught a signed poster!
There was also a olympic museum...

Afterward we headed to main street for lunch and happened upon the Mustang Car Show. These are my 2 favorites! Pink of course...

Yep you are seeing right this one is black sparkly! I seriously have a nail polish that matches this (OPI "in my private jet" if you must know), I told Mik it was a sign.

We ended the weekend with Park Silly street market

and dinner at ZOOM
It was so nice to get away just the 2 of us! I am so grateful I am married to Mik and what a great husband he is! I'm definitely more in love with him then I was 1 year ago and am excited for the future!

MARSHMALLOW WARS

My life has been so crazy so I'm so behind on my blogging! I'm going to try and catch up the next couple of days! Last night the kids decided to have a marshmallow fight. Karter gathered guns (pieces of pipe) and everyone got their own cup of marshmallows (add that to your grocery list mom!). They shoved their marshmallows in and went at it! The best part? they did it outside so no cleanup!

Later the guns turned to swords
not so fun when you get "stabbed"!
